What is the difference between direct mount wheels and other wheels?

Hub-centric and lug-centric wheels

The hub-centric wheel has a bore that perfectly fits the wheel hub. This allows it to be perfectly centered and is the best way to install the wheel. The original wheels are designed this way. Our direct mount wheels are of this type. The lug-centric wheel, on the other hand, is centered by tightening the bolts. This is a more universal wheel design and is very common in the aftermarket. This allows manufacturers to make a wheel suitable for more vehicles. This type of wheel is more difficult to center perfectly and very often requires centering rings.
