Bridgestone Americas has launched the all-new Turanza QuietTrack tire, the latest addition to the Turanza touring tire portfolio, which is designed to fit sedans and family cars of all kinds. Obviously, as the name suggests, it’s by providing a quieter ride that the tire stands out.
The new Turanza tire generation is focused on wet performance improvements (and our spring season is undoubtedly the right time to test them), but also on improved noise mitigation technologies.
Thus, by eliminating the high sound frequencies thanks to a new compound for the sole, the Turanza’s ride disturbs the occupants less in the passenger compartment. But this is just one of the new technologies used in Turanza.
ComfortCruise Technology – According to Bridgestone, ComfortCruise technology relies on a rounded contact surface and a modified tire carcass shape to reduce road vibration.
HydroTrack Technology – HydroTrack technology helps improve water drainage and reduce the risk of aquaplaning.
EdgePerformance Technology – A patented tread design helps the Turanza QuietTrack tire maintain the extra level of wet and dry road grip throughout its life.
The all-season touring tire (but we still like to suggest real winter tires, if any) is available in most popular sizes and comes with a 130,000 kilometer warranty. It replaces the Turanza Serenity Plus in the Bridgestone range.
