Four Dunlop tires to discover

Strongly inspired by my recent article on Sumitomo's takeover of the Dunlop brand, I decided to continue the series on the British-born manufacturer! This week, however, I'm turning more to the practical side of tire buying. As everyone knows, when it comes to shopping for new tires, the variety can easily confuse us. With these suggestions for four Dunlop tires, I hope to help you at least a little through this sometimes complex process!

Winter winner: Dunlop Winter MAXX

With its pleasant, quiet ride, outstanding handling and well-known solidity, the Dunlop Winter MAXX had to be mentioned. With the intense snowfalls that can befall us, we particularly appreciate its handling on snowy surfaces. This is undoubtedly thanks to the Nano-Fit rubber technology integrated into its tread, which promises a blend of robustness and grip. Bonus point: it's the least expensive model on the list!

For Winter SUVs: Dunlop Grandtrek SJ6

If you own a large vehicle, you'll often have to turn to specialized models capable of meeting all the needs of your van or SUV. That's why Dunlop also offers models like the Grandtrek SJ6. While benefiting from the same technologies as Dunlop's other winter tires, the Grandtrek's sidewalls are much more robust. It's also available in a variety of larger sizes.

For Hybrids or EVs: Dunlop Enasave 01 A/S

An EV or hybrid vehicle: another reason to turn to specialized tires! Models with a battery and electric motor have their own set of special requirements. In addition to being heavy, they accelerate suddenly, which can lead to premature tread wear. To solve these problems, Dunlop offers the Enasave 01 A/S, whose low rolling resistance also increases the range of these green vehicles!

The sporty: Dunlop Sport MAXX RT

At the other end of the spectrum, when it's not about minimizing fuel consumption, but about maximizing performance, there's the Dunlop Sport MAXX RT. Renowned above all for their handling and cornering stability, you'll also be surprised by their very short braking distance. Capable of offering precise handling on both the track and the highway, they're the model of choice for sports and racing enthusiasts!

Have these suggestions for four Dunlop tires helped you make up your mind? If so, I invite you to read the rest of our blog to learn even more about the tire market!
