For the world’s most powerful luxury SUV, you need tires to match. The British refinement of an Aston Martin and the Italian expertise of Pirelli combine again this year for a promising high-end experience. It must be said that the car is impressive on a mechanical level. The Aston Martin DBX707 can offer a whopping 707 horsepower. The creation of a new custom tire was obviously necessary to accommodate such a performance. Pirelli’s answer is an exclusive P ZERO model capable of holding the road at all speeds!

Designed for comfort

The problem with driving at very high speeds or accelerating more intensely is the loss of grip and excessive vibration. There are many safety risks, including the possibility of losing control or skidding. To enhance high-speed performance, the Aston Martin DBX707’s P ZEROs feature a special geometry structure in the fabric. This increases sidewall stiffness and improves cornering ability and handling.

Don’t be fooled, though! Pirelli didn’t just improve its safety. The manufacturer also equipped it with PNCS (Pirelli Noise Cancelling System) technology to reduce cabin noise. By insulating the inner tube with a soundproofing material, the new P ZERO absorbs vibrations before they reach the cabin.

Working together for the Aston Martin DBX707

This is not the first time that Pirelli has teamed up with the British carmaker for a new model. The Aston Martin range, including the standard DBX, DBS and Vantage models, is already mostly equipped with Pirelli tires. They too must have fallen under the spell of Pirelli technology! Indeed, for the manufacturing of the new P ZERO, the tire manufacturer will use its MIRS (Modular Integrated Robot System) robotic system, one of the most advanced in the world.

Granted, starting at $266,800, the Aston Martin DBX707 is probably out of reach for most of you (at least it is for me). At least you can still enjoy the benefits of Pirelli with their standard P ZERO line. Tires like the P ZERO All Season also benefit from PNCS technology, if you want to try it for yourself. For a luxury SUV like the DBX, you might want to consider the P ZERO PZ4 Luxury. A sporty model, on the other hand, will probably be more at home on P ZERO Nero or PZ4 RFT. It won’t be exactly like the Aston Martin’s, but it will be close enough!
