This year’s return of the SEMA Show in person, November 2-5 in Las Vegas, is sure to please! In addition to seeing all the latest automotive product innovations, visitors will also be able to see more than 35 unique concepts featuring Toyo tires for the first time.
This is Toyo’s eighth year of showcasing true works of art at SEMA, created in partnership with drivers like Ken Block and artists like Joshua Vides. As John Thomas, president of the manufacturer’s U.S. division, says, “They choose Toyo Tires knowing that good tires enhance the look, feel and performance of their vehicle!” Check out a few examples of their masterpieces.
2021 Chevrolet Silverado Crew Cab RST : Toyo Proxes ST II
Made by Texas-based Legendary Concepts, this new Chevrolet Silverado takes its inspiration from the Trans Am in the classic movie Smokey & The Bandit. Its 5.3L L83 engine develops a whopping 700 horsepower and features a Magnuson DI supercharger.
When it comes to tires, it’s no surprise that it’s equipped with top-of-the-line performance tires, the Toyo Proxes ST II. However, not everyone needs such power beasts! If this model inspires you, but you’re not interested in the track, the Toyo Open Country lineup will do just fine on your SUV or pickup truck.
1982 DeLorean DMC 12: Toyo Proxes R888R
Made famous by the well-known Back to the Future movie series, we had to include this DeLorean presented in collaboration with Tim Moceri. Since Moceri was greatly inspired by other sports cars from the era such as the Ferrari F40, his vehicle has a look straight out of the 1980s.
For a vehicle like this. You need tires that can stand up to all kinds of punishment and a rubber compound that’s soft enough for smooth cornering. With the sporty Proxes R888R, this DeLorean is ready to hit the track in a flash. However, Toyo has yet to reveal if it comes with time travel technology.
No need to head to Vegas to experience Toyo! At Blackcircles.ca, you’ll find a wide selection of Toyo tires and much more. Good thing you’re already there!
