February also means Valentine's Day, and to celebrate the festival of love, I've decided to do something a little different. Rather than recommending my tire choices or telling you about my experiences behind the wheel of various models, I've decided to suggest a few ideas for outings for romantic car lovers. If you share your passion for cars with your significant other, maybe one of these ideas will appeal to you! Who knows, you might even impress her...
A fun-filled drive
A simple car ride can absolutely be enough for a successful romantic outing. Beyond the deep conversations you can have on the way, you can also discover each other's musical tastes and include several activities. Why not, for example, go stargazing or have a picnic in a park? Of course, you can also take advantage of the most scenic roads in your region. It's more romantic to avoid the highways!
A road-trip
You've got a whole weekend to spend with your partner? Even better, since you can use this time to discover new places in new regions. Perhaps you could go to the countryside, or even all the way to a nearby province. Even better: visit a car museum! In my opinion, memories made this way are even more valuable than any physical Valentine's Day gifts.
Go-karting
If your partner loves driving as much as you do, a friendly competition would undoubtedly be a lot of fun! Of course, I'm not inviting you to go street racing, but rather to try your hand at karting. Not only will you have a great time with your partner, you'll be able to do it in a safe, yet exciting environment.
The famous drive-in
Probably one of the most popular romantic outings of all time, the drive-in continues to be the perfect place to spend some quality time with your partner. A few blankets, some candy and popcorn, and everything's in place for an unforgettable evening without even having to get out of your car.
An automotive event
As I write these lines, the car show season is in full swing, both here in Montreal last month and in Toronto now in February. This is undoubtedly the best way to get to know your partner's taste in cars, which, believe it or not, can be an important factor in a relationship! In addition to car shows, there exist many local automotive events where you can often see some incredible vehicles. All you have to do is keep an eye out on social media for car clubs in your area!
