MANUFACTURER WARRANTY
Our team is here to help and assist you through the manufacturer's warranty process for any tire purchased at blackcircles.ca . Our experts will analyze your request and ensure that your file is complete and valid. We will then file the claim with the manufacturer on your behalf. Our role is to communicate between you and the manufacturer. However, we are not responsible or accountable for the manufacturer's decision.
The regular processing time varies from 4 to 8 weeks from the time the claim was transmitted to the manufacturer. Depending on the season and the type of claim, the processing time will generally be less than 12 weeks.
For any claim request, it is important to:
- Do not dispose of the tire(s)
- Do not alter the condition of the product
- Fill out the claim form
This section is for inquiries regarding satisfaction, mileage, manufacturing defects, ride disturbance (vibration/drag), etc.

WARRANTY CLAIM PROCESS
STEP 1: Gather the necessary information
Here is what you will need to complete the claim form:
- Your blackcircles order number (Ex. 2017XXXXX).
- The make and model of the tire(s) to be claimed.
- The make, model and year of your vehicle.
- The complete DOT. Need help?
- Tread depth measurement. Need help?
- Mileage at installation and replacement.
- Confirm the number of tires and the problem.
- If necessary, add photos or documents to support your request.
STEP 2: Complete the claim form
Once you have completed your form, a confirmation email will be sent to you. (please check your Spam folder for the reply)
STEP 3: Analysis of the request
Our team will analyze your request and contact you within 2 to 3 business days. We will inform you of the next steps to follow according to the type of problem and the different manufacturers' warranties.
DOT : The DOT is an inscription found on both sides of the tire. Please note that the complete DOT has 12 to 13 characters ending with 4 digits indicating the week and year of manufacture. For more information, click here .
Tread depth measurement:. If you have a depth gauge, graduated in 32nd of an inch, use it to measure the tread depth. Insert the probe into the main profile in the groove and push the shoulders into the tread.
Documentations and photos : The manufacturer is entitled to request certain documents (e.g.: proof of alignment, proof of permutation, etc.) as well as specific photos depending on the type of claim..
Replacement tire : The manufacturer has the right to request proof of replacement. It is understood that the replacement tires must be the same brand as the original product..
Transport : The manufacturer has the right to request that items be shipped to an authorized warehouse for physical inspection. In this case, we will be happy to facilitate the task by scheduling the pickup and sending you the shipping labels by email (Please note that shipping costs are at the consumer's expense).
Refunds : Refunds will be issued in the same form of payment used for the original purchase. The amount of the refund is based on the terms and conditions of the manufacturer's warranty. (Environmental fees are not refundable).
WARRANTY DEFINITIONS
Many manufacturers offer different kinds of warranties, all of them are applicable to products purchased on blackcircles.ca. Below is a general description of what these warranties cover. All warranties offered by manufacturers are subject to their own terms and conditions.
Manufacturing Defects Warranty.
This warranty covers factory defects and problems with new tires. If a tire is damaged due to a problem during the manufacturing process or a problem with the quality of materials used in construction.
Also known as a Workmanship and materials warranty.
Various manufacturers offer a mileage guarantee. If the tires do not reach the mileage proposed by the manufacturer in its mileage warranty, it is possible to claim the difference on a pro rata basis.
You must provide the necessary documentation to prove the mileage used and proof of maintenance.
The satisfaction program offered by the manufacturers are offered for a set of 4 tires. If you are not satisfied with the tires, you have a trial period of 30 to 90 days from the date of purchase, depending on the manufacturer. Most manufacturers require the customers to exchange their tires for another product from their product line-up.
Roadside assistance is offered by some manufacturers in case of tire failure. It usually requires the registration of the tires on the manufacturer's website. This warranty offers towing service at no charge.
