MICHELIN TIRES WARRANTY
If you are in the market for Michelin tires in Canada, the company’s motto is “We stand behind every tire”. The Michelin tire warranty is called the Michelin “Promise Plan”, and it’s backed by a 100 percent customer satisfaction guarantee. Michelin offers the following:
You may be wondering “What does the Michelin tire warranty cover?” The Michelin tire warranty program in Canada includes a 60-day satisfaction guarantee, 3-Year Roadside Assistance and a limited tire mileage warranty.
For starters, Michelin stands behind their tires with the 60-day Satisfaction Guarantee, which means that if you are not 100 percent satisfied with your tires, you can bring the tires and your original sales receipt back to where you purchased them and receive a new set of tires.
For the 3-Year Roadside Assistance, the Michelin tire warranty in Canada includes flat tire change out, free towing for up to 250 kilometres, fluid deliveru of gas, water, etc., lockout service and battery jump start—all very handy services as you drive the roads of Canada. Roadside Flat Tire Assistance is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year in Canada for 3 years after you purchase your MICHELIN replacement tires.
If you are wondering how to claim a Michelin tire warranty, you need to take your tires (along with the invoice for your tires) and bring them to a local participating tire retail so the tires can be inspected by a technician, and that person can diagnose the problem. If you do not have the original sales invoice, you can use the DOT dates, located on the sides of each tire.
Michelin’s tire mileage warranty means that all Michelin passenger and light truck replacement tires are covered by a limited warranty for tread wear. This is part of Michelin’s commitment to total customer satisfaction for its tires. For full details on your specific brand of Michelin tires, see Michelin Brand Mileage Treadwear Warranties. If you have questions about the Michelin run flat tire warranty, please note that the Zero Pressure line of tires from Michelin have the same mileage warranty as the standard product line, but will not to exceed 50,000 kilometres.
Another question you may ask is, “Do Michelin tires have a road hazard warranty?” While Michelin offers a great overall tire warranty, it does not include coverage for road hazard injuries to your tires.
