PIRELLI TIRES WARRANTY
If you are researching new tires to purchase in Canada, and are interested in making an investment in Pirelli tires, then you should understand what is covered under the Pirelli tire warranty before you buy. Pirelli tires are a significant investment for vehicle owners, with well-known and popular lines including the Cinturato P7 and Scorpion Verde, two favourites of drivers of higher end performance cars. Here are the warranties Pirelli offers:
Pirelli’s standard Limited Warranty covers all Pirelli tires that have a complete D.O.T. identification number and bear the Pirelli name, and have been purchased as replacement tires or are original equipment on a car you have purchased. The Pirelli tire warranty states that these tires are to be free of defects in workmanship for the first year from the date of purchase or within the first 2/32 inches of original usable tread (whichever occurs first). Various Pirelli tires also may be eligible for the Pirelli Confidence Plus plan.
If you are curious about the popular P Zero Nero warranty, please noted these tires are subject to the same Limited Warranty as other Pirelli tires, however the mileage warranty on these tires, as well as the Cinturato P7 tires and Scorpion Verdes vary for each tire.
For run flat tires, the Pirelli run flat tire warranty are covered under the standard warranty, and in addition, Pirelli provides road hazard coverage on tires with this technology—both original equipment and replacement tires.
When you place claims under the Pirelli tire warranty, and you are approved, you will receive an identical or comparable replacement Pirelli tire (or tires) including mounting and balancing. If you are placing a claim after the first year or beyond the tread wear warranty, then you will pay the pro-rata cost for a comparable replacement tire, as well as mounting and balancing charges.
If you are wondering whether there is a Pirelli tire bubble warranty on tires, the Limited Warranty will cover any issues with defects in workmanship (within the applicable time range and tread wear limitations), but not if the damage was caused by improper use, incorrect inflation, modifications to the tires, plus several other factors, all of which are noted in detail in the full warranty on Pirelli’s website located here.
If you have any questions, please contact a Pirelli tire warranty customer service representative, by calling the numbers listed on their website.
