Si vous êtes comme moi, vous voulez un pneu qui fait tout: adhérer à la route comme une ventouse, tenir sous la pluie sans transformer votre voiture en patin à glace et ne pas s’user après trois virages un peu dynamiques. S'il existe bien des pneus du genre sur le marché, il faut souvent anticiper un budget plus élevé pour en profiter pleinement... Eh bien, Toyo semble avoir entendu nos prières avec son tout nouveau Proxes Sport A/S+, un pneu ultra-haute performance toutes saisons qui promet d’être aussi à l’aise sur la chaussée sèche qu’en plein orage.

Proxes Sport nouvelle génération

Le modèle est l’évolution directe du Proxes Sport A/S et il a été amélioré à tous les niveaux. Grâce à un nouveau mélange de gomme, l’adhérence sur sol mouillé est encore meilleure. Côté robustesse, la marque a travaillé pour assurer une usure plus lente en plus d'une réduction de la résistance au roulement. Bref, ça veut dire plus de kilomètres sans avoir à changer de pneus et potentiellement des économies de carburant (ou d'électricité si vous roulez VÉ).

Toyo a aussi optimisé le design de la bande de roulement avec un profil asymétrique pensé pour améliorer la stabilité et le freinage. La structure interne aussi été mise à jour avec un flanc rigide, des ceintures en acier ultra-résistantes et un design qui répartit bien la pression au sol. Cela se traduit par une conduite plus précise et un sentiment de dynamisme amélioré sur la route. De plus, le bruit de roulement a été réduit grâce à des rainures spécialement conçues pour minimiser l’usure irrégulière et offrir un trajet plus silencieux.

Disponibles dès maintenant

Les Proxes Sport A/S+ arrivent dès maintenant, en mars 2025, et Toyo voit grand avec une disponibilité en plus de 75 tailles, couvrant des diamètres de 17 à 22 pouces. Une version High Load (HL) est également proposée, spécifiquement conçue pour les VUS, hybrides et véhicules électriques. Ainsi, que vous soyez au volant de pratiquement n'importe quel véhicule, il y aura une dimension adaptée à votre modèle. Pour encore plus de sérénité lors de l'achat, Toyo accompagne ce modèle d’une garantie d’usure de 80 000 km. 

Avec son nouveau pneu, Toyo semble proposer une solution idéale pour ceux qui recherchent un pneu équilibré, à la fois performant et durable, tout en gardant son côté silencieux. Reste à voir s’il tient toutes ses promesses sur la route, mais sur le papier, il a tout pour plaire. Alors, êtes-vous prêt à le mettre à l’épreuve?
